GILES, LEONA MARION The passing of Leona Marion Giles of Fredericton, N.B., occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday, August 30, 2003. She was 83. Born in Saint John, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Leo and Janet (Beckwith) Neilson. Leona was Anglican by faith and was a member of the Lower Sackville, N.S. Seniors Bowling League. Survived by three daughters, Anna Eisenhauer-Walsh (Jack) of Hammonds Plains, N.S., Susan Murray (Dan) of Marysville, N.B., and Lynn Pond (Weldon) of Fredericton; one son, Brian Giles (Peggy) of Lower Sackville, Halifax Co., N.S.; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Gordon Edgar Giles and sonin-law, Phillip Eisenhauer. The family will receive friends at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Tuesday from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at 3:30 pm. Interment in the Burton Cemetery, Burton, N.B.
