LONG, WILBER The death of Wilber Long occurred at the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home, Boiestown, on Saturday, August 30, 2003. Born in Ludlow on December 12, 1911, he was the son of the Late Justus and Minnie (Murphy) Long. He is survived by one half sister, Dora Lyons of Carroll's Crossing; two half brothers, Douglas Price (Gertrude) of Fredericton, and Richard Price of Doaktown; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Walter and Cecil Long; one half sister Georgia Price; one half brother Theodore Long; two sisters-inlaw Amy Price, and Mary Long. Visitation will be at McNamee Pentecostal Assembly on Monday, September 1, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the McNamee Pentecostal Assembly on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at 2 PM with Rev. Cole Price officiating. Interment will be at the Ludlow Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers are Willard O'Donnell, Bennett Price, Carl Price, William Lyons, Jerry Lyon and Halarian Long. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miramichi Valley Funeral Home.
