LEWIS, LAURENCE WILSON Laurence Wilson Lewis of Fredericton died peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday, September 15th, 2003. Born on February 9th, 1920 in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late Perry and May (Kitchen) Lewis, and the husband of Eileen (Delahunt) Lewis. He was employed as an accountant for thirty-seven years with the University of New Brunswick before retiring in 1978. Laurence and his loving wife Eileen just recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. He enjoyed walking and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all for his humour, his generous spirit and his "Larry" stories. Survived by his wife Eileen, their children, Donald Lewis (Monique) of Dartmouth, Robert Lewis (Patricia) of Fredericton, Margaret Wickett of Ottawa, Bruce Lewis (Waleria Biskupski) of Fredericton, Carol McCoombs (Gerry) of Fredericton, Kathy Lewis (Brent Hickman) of Halifax, thirteen grandchildren, John, Robert and Michael Wickett, Steven, David and Andrew Lewis, Brian, Michael and Katherine Lewis, Kelly and Jennifer McCoombs, Ben and Laura Hickman, two great-grandchildren, Sarah and Matthew Wickett. Predeceased by his parents, one brother, Mick Lewis and one sister, Pearl Doak of Moncton. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 17th from 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held at Holy Family Parish Church, Hanwell Road on Thursday, September 18th, 2003 at 2:00 pm with Rev. J.J. Dolan officiating.
