SOLOMON, GERALDINE The passing of Gertrude Geraldine Solomon of 80 French Village Road, Kingsclear, NB occurred Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was 79. Born in Old Town, Maine, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Moulton) Tomer. She was Roman Catholic by faith. Geraldine was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No.4, Fredericton. An avid Dart player, she was a member of the Fredericton and NB Dart Association. She was also an avid Bingo player. She is survived by her loving husband Charles W. Solomon; sons, Francis G. Solomon (Karen), Charles W. Solomon Jr. (Priscilla), Anthony A. Solomon (Barb), Peter N. Solomon (Sarah) and Anthony J. Solomon (Trinda); daughters, C. Natalie Solomon-Grey (Bob), Sarah A. Sacobie (Gary), Catherine J. Wilson (Dennis), Rebecca G. Sirois (Marc), C. Louise Solomon and Theresa M. Solomon; 23 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents; three brothers, three sisters and one great-grandson. Resting at her late residence, 80 French Village Road, Kingsclear, beginning Thursday afternoon. The funeral service will be held from St. Ann's Church, Kingsclear, on Saturday, September 20, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Cremation to follow. Interment at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society, the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
