PUGH, ZANA SHIRLEY The death of Shirley Zana Pugh age 78 of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, September 17th, 2003. Born in Fredericton, NB. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Mabel (Doherty) King, and the wife of the late Roy "Bim" Pugh. Shirley was a life member and past President of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch #4, and was a member of the UCW at the Wilmot Church. Survived by one son, Douglas Pugh of Fredericton, and one devoted daughter, Joan McGee (Robert) of Fredericton, and one special daughter, Rosemary Donnelly; four grandchildren, Jeffrey, Lisa, and Jennifer McGee and Leona Donnelly; one brother, Mack King (June); one sister, Vivian "Byng" Wright (Austin); one sister in law, Edna King; one brother in law, Leith Draper; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; husband Roy, two brothers, John and Lee King, two sisters, Nelda Clewley and Doris Draper. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 20th, 2003 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Isabel Black will officiate. Interment will be in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
