OAKVILLE, Ont. – Harry Vincent Blair passed away at his home in Oakville with his family at his side in the early morning of November 30, 2008. Beloved husband of Joanna, devoted father of Alison (Andrew) and Kevin and doting grandfather of Miles. Retired executive from Shell Chemicals Canada Ltd.; actively involved with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario – Halton Chapter, the Health Solution Centre and the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Education Program at OTMH, the boards of the Oakville Public Library and the Library Services Centre; and newly found voice in the Tempus Choral Society. Avid reader, runner, hiker and outdoor enthusiast. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, Oakville Chapel, 109 Reynolds St. (905-844-3221) on Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service and reception will be held Friday, Dec. 5, at 1 p.m. at Maple Grove United Church, 346 Maple Grove Drive (905-845-5721).
