PHILLIPS, ELEANOR VERONICA Veronica Eleanor Phillips, 88, Villa Saint Joseph-du-Lac, Dayton, Yarmouth Co., and formerly of Oromocto, NB, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2003 in the villa. Born February 7, 1915 in Fredericton Junction, NB, she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Mary M. Landers. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League of Oromocto, and was a former member of Saint Vincent-de-Paul Church, also in Oromocto. Surviving are a son Bernard J. (Veralyn) Bonnar, Hebron, Yarmouth Co; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Ora B. Bonnar, as well as by her second husband, Angus H. Phillips; a son, Richard Phillips; a brother, Paul Landers; and a sister, Teresa Fisher. Mrs. Phillips will be transferred to the Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago Street, Oromocto, NB, where visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. from Saint Vincent-de-Paul Roman Catholic Church, Oromocto, with interment in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to H.M.
