HICKEY, KENNETH GRANVEL The death of Kenneth G. Hickey of Oromocto NB, occurred on Sunday, September 28th 2003 at York Manor Nursing Home. Born in Doyleville, NB he was the son of the late Alex and Emily (Lapointe) Hickey and husband of Sarah Hickey. Survived by his wife, Sarah of Oromocto, NB; one son Neal (Gisele) of Hanwell, NB; four daughters, Carrie Winters (Cameron) of Lower Sackville, NS, Sherry Alward (Breck) of Vanderhoof, BC, Tamara Hickey of USA, Tasha Kennedy (Joseph) of Giants Lake, NS; four grandchildren, Kyle, Samuel, Brennan, and Sarah; one brother, Arnold and one sister, Josephine both of Nash Creek, NB and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Emily and ten siblings, Joseph, Howard, Giles, Gabriel, Rubert, Durward, Mary, Violet, Eva and Rose. Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 30th, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on October 1st, 2003 at 11:00 am. Rev. Ken Weir as celebrant. Interment will be held in the adjoining church cemetery.
