CLARKE, DWAYNE R. The passing of Dwayne Robert Clarke of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 1, 2003. He was 57. Born in Fredericton, he was a son of Nellie L. (Phillips) Clarke and the late Kenneth O. Clarke. Dwayne was Baptist by faith and was proprietor of the Petro-Canada Service Station on Regent St., Fredericton. He was an avid fisherman and a hard worker. His family was the love of his life. He is survived by his wife Darlene P. (Hargrove) Clarke; two sons, Dennis Stickles (Vicki) of Fredericton and Troy Clarke of Halifax, NS; one daughter, Heather Clarke of Fredericton; four grandchildren; his mother Nellie Clarke of Fredericton; two brothers, Olin Clarke (Linda) of St. John's, Newfoundland and Ron Clarke of Vancouver, BC; three nephews and one niece; aunts and uncles. Predeceased by his father. The family will receive friends at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 3, 2003 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Terry Atkinson officiating. Burial will be private. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
