STELLARTON - Helen Kathleen Silver, age 84, of the Glen Haven Manor and formerly of Stellarton, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2007, in the Manor. Born in Stellarton, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (Walsh) Jollotta. She worked in Ontario for several years and was a former employee of Bagnell's Dry Cleaners, New Glasgow. She is survived by sister, Theresa "Terry" Dortar, Michigan; brother, George Dean, Ontario; sister-in-law, Eileen Jollotta, Abercrombie Road; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers: Gus, Fred and Raymond; and sisters, Cecilia and Mary (Druhan) MacPhee. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service 2 p.m. today in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow with Father Danny MacLennan officiating. Burial will be in Lorne Street Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of choice.
