OLIVE JOSEPHINE MUNN
MUNN, OLIVE JOSEPHINE The death of Olive Josephine Munn of Holtville, occurred on Saturday, October 11, 2003, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Holtville, Olive was the daughter of the late Angus Munn and Christina Conroy. Olive was a member of the Lions Club and the Holtville Women's Institute. Olive is survived by her three daughters, Pat Spencer, AB, Gloria (Roger) Bubar, Astle, Cora Munn (Rob), Holtville; three sons, Bliss (Cindy) Munn, Astle, Arthur (Trudy) Munn, Nashwaak Bridge, Merlin (Kim) Munn, AB; three brothers, Archie Munn, Taxis River, Tom (Joan) Munn, Taxis River, Harold (Rita) Munn, Haysville; five sisters, Laura Christian, NS, Bertha (Merle)Lenentine, New Castle, Etta (Glen) Lovelace, Haysville, Doreen (Arthur) Lovelace, Haysville, Margaret Munn, Holtville; seventeen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Olive was predeceased by one brother, Vivian Munn and her step- father, Desmond Conroy. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 13, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Tuesday, October 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15, at 2 pm from Holtville United Church, Holtville, with the Rev. Murray McFarlane officiating. An interment will follow the service at Cameron Hill Cemetery.Pallbearers for the service will be Doug Lyons, Walter Lynch, Andy Munn, Jim MacLellan, Melvin Munn Jr., and Jody Ward. Honourary Pallbearers for the service will be Floris Norrad, Audrey Munn, Anna Mae Basque, Lorraine Storey, Jeanie Black and Susan Munn. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or donor's choice. A reception will follow the interment at the Lions Club.
