GORMAN, RALPH HENRY The death of Ralph Henry Gorman of Stanley, husband of Eva (Scott) Gorman, occurred on Sunday, October 12, 2003 at his residence. Born in Williamsburg, he was the son of the late John and Daisy (Fullarton) Gorman. Ralph was formerly employed as a custodian at Stanley High School. He was a member of Hillcrest United Church, and the Stanley Golden Age Club. In addition to his wife of 63_years, Ralph is survived by three daughters, Carol Gourley and her husband Edward of Fredericton, Marie Gilbert and her husband Stephen of Nashwaak Bridge, and Daisy Hood and her husband Mowatt of Taymouth, three sons, Frederick Gorman of Stanley, Donald Gorman and his wife Sharon of Durham Bridge, and Travis Gorman and his wife Kristine of Lincoln ; a son-in-law Bryan Crouse of Burtt's Corner; two sisters, Ina Fullarton and her husband Roy of Williamsburg and Rae Thomas and her husband Willis of Fredericton; two brothers, Eugene Gorman of Glassville, and Clifford Gorman and his wife Jean of Williamsburg; sisters-inlaw Della of Fredericton, Evelyn Gorman and Inez Gorman both of Saint John; sister-in-law. 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Ralph was predeceased by two daughters, Margaret Jean Gorman and Norma Elizabeth Crouse; four brothers, Randolph, Jack, Wilfred and Chester, two sisters, Gladys Gallagher and Florence Hossack. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, Brookside Drive at Douglas Avenue, Fredericton North, on Wed. October 15 2-4, 7-9. The funeral service will be held on Thursday October 16 at 2 PM from Hillcrest United Church, Stanley. Rev. Murray McFarlane will officiate. Interment will take place in the Hillcrest United Church Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to Hillcrest United Church Cemetery or any charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
