JOHN M.C. WADE

WADE, JOHN M.C. The death of John M.C. Wade occurred at his residence on Sunday, October 19th, 2003. Born in Fredericton in 1925, he was the son of the late John F and Mabel E (Boyle) Wade. John was a retired Public Servant with the Federal Government and was affiliated with St. Dunstan's Catholic Church. He was a resident of Fredericton all of his life with the exception of Military Service during the Second World War where his postings comprised of service in Canada and the United Kingdom. He is survived by one sister, Marguerite Pelkola of Ottawa, ON; three nephews, David (Kathy) of Aurora, ON, Douglas and John of Ottawa; one great niece, Amanda of Glouchester, ON; two great nephews, Michael and Matthew of Aurora, ON; very good friends, Sharon and Robert Shanks and their family Jonathan and Jeffrey of Ottawa; several cousins and neighbors. Predeceased by his parents, two sisters, Mildred and Kathleen Wade and two bothers, Arthur and James Wade. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 21st, from 2-4 and 79 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 4 will hold a tribute service at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 22nd, at 12:00 noon. Monsignor Brian Sheehan as celebrant. Interment will be in the Hermitage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes made to the New Brunswick Lung Association or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. www.mcadamsfh.com
