ROONEY, BERTHA MILDRED The death of Bertha M. (Davison) Rooney of Lincoln, NB occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on October 26th, 2003. Born in McGivney Junction, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Vivian L. (Stewart) Davison and wife of Walter Rooney. Survived by her husband, Walter; sons, Joe Porier of Fredericton, NB, Ervine Porier of Petawawa, ON and Frank Porier (Muriel) of Dieppe, NB; step-son, James Rooney (Darlene) of Saint John, NB; step-daughters, Heather Amyotte (Brian) of Petawawa, ON and Susan Bothman of Mississauga, ON; brother, Ray Davison (Ellen) of Pembroke, ON; sister, Olla Bougouish of Oromocto, NB; 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; brothers, Moses, Robert and Ellis and sisters, Tina and Sadie. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th, 2003 at 2:30 pm in the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Robert Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in the Lower Lincoln Cemetery.
