ANDREW OSGOOD LACELLE

LACELLE, ANDREW OSGOOD At the age of 74 years, Andrew Osgood Lacelle, friend of Elizabeth Mott, Fairfield NB, peacefully passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 29, 2003. Born in Montreal, Andrew was the son of the late Noel and Lucille (Desmormeaux) Lacelle. Andy, fondly remembered by many as "Frenchy" enjoyed a long career as a heavy equipment operator, most recently until retirement from the I. L.A. at the Potash Terminal. In his spare time he enjoyed "tinkering" with his vehicles and especially enjoyed his time at his summer home in Chipman, NB, with his beloved dog Tacha. Predeceased by his wife Mary (Glenn) and survived by their daughter Cathy (Brian) Tyler and their children Andrew, Richard and Amber. He is also survived by his children from his first marriage; son, Robert Andrew Lacelle (Angie) and their children Cpl. Jason Lacelle (Beth), Emily Richard (Yvon) and Cheyenne Lacelle; son, Steven Lacelle and his daughter Danielle, Gail Lacelle and her children Jeffrey and Chelsey. Predeceased by sons Lindsay, Paul, Ricky and daughter Mary. Survived also by a brother Claude Lacelle (Serge Pellerin), Montreal, several great grandchildren, in-laws and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother PaulEmile and his sisters Noella and Carmen. Visitation will be held at the A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 79 p.m. Also, visitation will be held at the Chipman Funeral Home, 339-6612 on Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. followed by the service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial in the Redbank Cemetery. Donations to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
