ALMA MARJORIE TUCKER
TUCKER, ALMA MARJORIE Alma M. Tucker of Lincoln and formerly of Upper Hainesville passed away on November 4, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Born at Upper Hainesville on July 25, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Gladys (Jones) Johnson. Alma shared her love of flower and vegetable gardening with her family and friends. She was a talented oil painter and an avid bowler. Alma attended the Oromocto Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Gilmore (Everett), Lincoln; a son, Calvin Tucker (Michelle), Upper Hainesville; two granddaughters, Amanda Tucker (Jeremy), Burtts Corner and Emma Grace Tucker, Upper Hainesville; two grandsons, Thomas Gilmore (Lindsay), Oromocto and Mack Sharpe, Zealand; two sisters, Doris Blaney (Alden), Hawkins Corner and Myrna Kelly (Monty), Fredericton; three brothers, Darrell Johnson, Fredericton, Donald Johnson (Pat), Silverwood and Willis Johnson (Doris), Fredericton; a sister-in-law, Florence Tucker, Upper Hainesville; several nieces and nephews. Alma was predeceased by her husband, Elwood Tucker in 1984. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, November 6, 2003 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the Staples Settlement Cemetery.
