GORMAN, DELLA W. The death of Della W. Gorman formerly of Friel Street, Fredericton, occurred at Pine Grove Nursing Home on Thursday, November 13, 2003. Born in Williamsburg, NB on January 5, 1914, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret Dorcas and beloved wife of the late Chester Gorman. Della worked in the retail ladies wear business, the last few years at Vey's Ladies Wear, where she retired from. She was a member of Gibson Memorial United Church for many years. Survived by her loving family, daughter Noreen Seely (Douglas) and son Aubrey (Helen Jean). A wonderful grandmother who will be greatly missed by her six grandchildren, Gregory Stephen, Lisa all of Fredericton, Howard of Calgary, Patricia and Jill of Bathurst, NB; ten great grandchildren, Katy, Carrie, Braydon, Quinn, Alex, Abigail all of Fredericton, Amanda, Scott, Joshua, and Brittany of Bathurst, NB; one sister Evelyn of Rothesay; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by six brothers, Amos, Douglas, James, Clare, Frank and Arthur; six sisters, Isabel, Jenny, Sarah, Jessie, Margaret and Annie. A Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, Brookside Drive at Douglas Avenue, Fredericton North, on Sunday, November 16, 2003 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 17, 2003 at 2 pm from the Alexander Gibson Memorial United Church with Rev. Boyd Vincent officiating.
