RUBY L. STAPLES
STAPLES, RUBY L. Ruby L. Staples 92, of Moncton passed away at the Moncton Hospital Saturday November 29, 2003. Born in Nashwaaksis, daughter of the Late Frank and Annie (Gill) Staples. Ruby was a retired School Teacher, a Graduate of Fredericton Normal School, she taught at Aberdeen School, Edith Cavell and Queen Elizabeth in Moncton, also taught Music at Salisbury and surrounding area schools. She retired with over 36 years service. She was a member of St. George's Anglican Church, former member of the Church Ladies Bible Class and the A.C.W. Member of the New Brunswick retired Teachers Association and former member of the Moncton Community Concert Association. Ruby is survived by her nieces Shirley Townsend, Darlene Ebbett, Fredericton: Nephews; Reg Staples, St. Andrews; Darrell Staples, Fredericton and several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her Brothers: Bedford, Kenneth, Cecil, Percy: Sisters; Winnifred, Dorothy, Verna, Emma. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In keeping with Ruby's wishes there will be no visiting hours. Funeral Service at St. George's Anglican Church, Moncton, Saturday December 6, 2003, 1pm. Archdeacon Reginald Stockall officiating. Reception following the Service. Interment, St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery, Fredericton. In Ruby's memory, donations to memorial of your choice would be appreciated.
