VICTOR JOSEPH DOIRON

DOIRON, VICTOR JOSEPH The death of Victor Joseph Doiron of Burtt's Corner, husband of Kathy C. (Brewer) Doiron, occurred on Monday, December 8, 2003 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Brantville, New Brunswick, he was the son of Adolphe and Emilie (Savoie) Doiron. Victor operated his own business, Doiron's Drywall and Painting Ltd. He was a member of the Burtt's Corner Lions Club, and the Keswick Snowmobile Association. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially at his camp in Crow Hill. In addition to his wife and to his parents, Victor is survived by a son, Matthew Doiron of Burtt's Corner; a step-son, Richie Polchies (Bev) of Zealand; a step-daughter, Jennifer Brewer (Jonn) of Fredericton; a brother, Urbain Doiron of Kingsley; sisters Dorielle Doiron of British Columbia, Adenise Kelly, Yvette Steine, Olive Thornton (Terry), Sarah Holburn, and Beatrice Finley, all of Oshawa, Ontario; a granddaughter, Marissa Nicole Polchies; and several nieces and nephews. Victor was predeceased by his daughter, Nicole. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, Brookside Drive at Douglas Avenue, Fredericton North, on Wednesday from 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM from the Burtt's Corner Church of Christ. Rev. Graham Crandall will officiate. Interment will take place in the Burtt's Corner Community Cemetery. The active pallbearers will be Paul Anderson, John Harding, Chris Brennan, Arnold Goos, Dave McKim, and Tim Tompkins. The honorary pallbearers will be Steve Meuse, Terry Hazlett, John Gordon, Lewis Grey, and Arthur Ames.
