James (Jamie) Clement Bartlett

James (Jamie) Clement Bartlett - 39, Halifax. It is with heavy hearts that we regret to announce the sudden passing of our beloved Jamie on February 14, 2007. Born in Sydney, Jamie graduated from Sydney Academy and later went on to complete his Masters in Business Administration from Dalhousie University in Halifax. He was an active member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, and both the Sydney and Halifax Kinsmen Clubs. During this time he achieved many recognitions and awards for his generous and selfless contributions to both club and community. Jamie was employed as Employment Assistance Manager with Team Work Cooperative of Halifax. During his term of service, he distinguished himself fulfilling the obligations and duties of his position with a dedication and perseverance that earned him the respect of all fellow colleagues and coworkers. Jamie is survived by his parents, Michael and Sheila (nee MacDougall) Bartlett; his two brothers, Darren (Andrea) of Sydney and Michael (Mimi) of Ontario; his two beautiful daughters, Lindsey, 12, and Angela, 9, and Jordan, 6, whom he loved as his own son; and by his grandparents, Jim and Kay Bartlett of Sydney. Jamie was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, James and Annie Mae MacDougall. He will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and all his beloved nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held at the Sydney Memorial Chapel on Sunday, February 18, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Theresa’s Church, Whitney Avenue, on Monday, February 19 at 10 a.m. Jamie touched the hearts of many people and he will be forever loved and missed.
