NORAH (GIVENS) CULLIGAN

CULLIGAN, NORAH (GIVENS) At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on December 19, 2003, Norah Culligan, age 88 of Fredericton, N.B., passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Born in Sheffield, England she was a daughter of the late Walter and Martha Ann (Smith) Givens, and wife of the late Austin Culligan. Norah was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and was a retired clerk typist and a cook at Zellers. She was an avid knitter and reader. Surviving are her children, David Culligan (Bonnie), Ian Culligan (Janet), Brian Culligan and Joanne O'Donnell all of Fredericton, and Paul Culligan of Dartmouth; stepson Ralph (Louise) of Thorne Hill, Ontario; ab rother Ronald Givens (Gwynda) of BridgewaterSomerset, England; six grandchildren, Trudy (Kevin), Dean (Sarah), Jamie, Carrie, Scott, Trudy Lynn; one great grandson Paxton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother, Jim Givens. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road with visitation Saturday from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Sunday December 21, 2003 at 2:00 pm from Bishop's Funeral Home, Chapel with Chris Price officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Miller, Ward O'Leary, Bob Whitlock, Bill Whitlock, George Farris, Gary Fullerton. Interment will be held at the Marysville United Baptist Church Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of the donor's choice.
