(nee Holwell) Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital after a short illness on February 4, 2008, in her 84th year. Predeceased by husband John Noel on November 6, 2006; father William and mother Gertrude (nee Ryan); brothers: William (Laura) and John; sister Mary Haynes (Hayward); sister-in-law Ada; stepson Billy Noel. Leaving to mourn with fond memories brothers: Hal, Alfred (Mary), Len (Betty); sisters-in-law: Dorothy Holwell and Josephine Gallota in the U.S.; stepdaughters: Carol Alexander (Ivan deceased), Cathy Ivany, Janet (Ed Ralph), Gail (Derm Cullen); stepsons: John and Keith Noel; seven step-grandchildren; a large number of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; also other family members in Newfoundland, Labrador and Ontario; also many friends especially those at Thomas Estates. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church.
