NEW GLASGOW - James Gregory Walsh, 73, New Glasgow, passed away Friday, January 12, 2007, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Antigonish, he was the youngest son of the late Vincent and Carrie (Anderson) Walsh. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton, where he served as choir member and lector. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 1667, New Glasgow. Greg enjoyed music and playing cards. Surviving are daughter, Deenie (Don) Webster, Halifax; son, Robert "Bob" (Gloria), New Glasgow; sister, Loretta "Rita" Stewart, New Glasgow; grandchildren, Samantha and Kerri Ann Walsh; Adam, Aaron and Leah Webster; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Christina Demmons, Mary Cleary; brothers, Dan, Lewis, Alex. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with Father Francis Cameron presiding. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
