WOOD, JAMES K. "JIM" With his family at his side, died peacefully on Tuesday January 6, 2004 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, in his 71st year. Jim, loving husband of Pat for 46 years. Beloved Dad of Jeff (wife Katie) of Ajax and Leslie (Tony McMillan) of Bailieboro. Dear Grandpa of Sarah, Rachel and James; brother of Marguerite (Dick Jennings) of Peterborough and George (Denise Fry) of Campbellcroft. Predeceased by sister-in-law Nancy. Remembered by countless nieces, nephews and friends. Jim dedicated his life to serving other. Retired RCMP Staff Sergeant. First Deputy Reeve of Otonabee South Monaghan. Past Deputy Reeve and Councilor of South Monaghan Township. Past member of the Board of Governors, Peterborough Civic Hospital and Board of Directors of the Saint Joseph's Health Center. Past Board member of Otonabee Region Conservation Authority, committed volunteer at Telecare Peterborough and member of the national board of Telecare Canada. Current member of the Trent Severn Waterway. Long standing member of Emmanuel United Church and outstanding chorister. A Memorial Service will be held at Emmanuel United Church, Bailieboro, Ontario on Saturday January 10th, 2004 a 1:00 pm. Reverend Liz Mackenzie officiating.
