STAIRS, D. GERALDINE, 1915-2004 D. Geraldine Stairs, age 88 of Kingsley, wife of Merrill Stairs went home to her Lord on January 9, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She is survived by one brother, Glen Ingraham (Vivian) of Bristol, N.B.; three sons Ardean Stairs (Donna) of Nepean, Ont.; Glen Stairs (Doris) of Cardigan, N.B.; Marty Stairs of Royal Road, N.B.; one daughter Othella Milton (Barry) of Penniac, N.B.; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents Percy and Mabel Shaw, brother Carl Shaw, sister Pauline Bell, and grandson Peter Stairs. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North, on Monday, January 12, 2004 from 4:30 to 8 pm. The funeral will be held at the Kingsley Baptist Church on Tuesday January 13, 2004 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Wes Stanley officiating. Burial will be held in the Olivet Wesleyan Church Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the dedicated care given by the staff and physicians of 4 N.W. and 3 N.
