SAUNDERS, IAN B. The death of Ian B. Saunders, age 90, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Monday, January 12, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Woodlands, NB, he was the son of the late Leslie and Nellie (Brewer) Saunders. He was formerly a farmer and for the past 40 years, was a trucker. He was a member of the Christ Church Parish Church. Survived by his wife of 70 years, Faye, two daughters; Shirley Munn (Cedric) of Fredericton, and Audrey Joudrey of Fredericton; two sons; Carl (Ginette) of Dartmouth, NS, and Lyle of Fredericton, seven grandchildren, Jeff Munn - Stephen, Brian and Paul Joudrey - Michael Saunders and Melissa Morgan - Suzanne Robichaud, nine great grandchildren, sisters, Dorothy McNeill, Muriel Ashfield (James), Kaye Holyoke - Helen Jacobs (Edward) - Enid Pugh - sisters-in-law Marjorie Saunders, Glenna Brewer and Muriel Estey, brothers-in-law Fred Wilkins and Paul Estey, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by children Donald and Helen (infants) brothers, Wilson, Murray and Irvine, Sister Klyne Wilkins and three grandchildren, Lisa, Shelley and Anthony Saunders. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, with visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Christ Church (Parish) Church on Thursday, January 15, 2004 at 2 p.m. with Venerable John Sharpe and Rev. Elaine Hamilton officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Family flowers only.
