HAZEL O. MARSHALL
MARSHALL, HAZEL O. The death of Hazel O. Marshall of Florenceville, and formerly of Nashwaaksis, wife of the late Jack Marshall, occurred on Thursday, January 15, 2004 at her residence. Born in Kirkland, Carleton County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Georgia (Winchester) Jackson. Hazel was formerly employed as a library assistant at the University of New Brunswick. She was a former President of the Nashwaaksis chapter of the New Brunswick Women's Institute, and attended the Nashwaaksis United Church. An avid knitter, Hazel also enjoyed vegetable gardening and cooking, and liked to travel with her family. Hazel is survived by her son, Robert Marshall and his wife Beverly of Florenceville; a sister, Mabel McKeague and her husband Vernon of Calgary, Alberta; a brother-in-law Harold Dickinson of Debec; grandchildren Sherry Wortman (Duane) of Oakland and Tammy Clark (Richard) of Carlow; great grandchildren Bobby, Alex, and Cameron; two nieces; and four nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, Brookside Drive at Douglas Avenue, Fredericton North, on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel. Rev. Brian MacDonald will officiate.
