MCFARLANE, MABEL The death of Mabel McFarlane of Fredericton occurred at her daughter's home on Thursday, January 15th, 2004. Born in Birdton, York Co., NB she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Esther (Boone) Haines and the wife of the late R. Bruce McFarlane. Survived by her daughter, Lois Paterson (Bill) of Fredericton, NB, three grandchildren, Roger (Karen) of Vancouver, Jeffrey (Carolyn) of Fredericton, NB, Christopher (Dawne) of Ottawa; six great-grandchildren, Ryan, Dylan, Leah, Sydney, Jayme and Derek; one brother, Carl Haines (Blanche) of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, four brothers, Melbourne, Earl, Donald and Herbert Jr. Haines; two sisters, Eula Wilkins and Marion Brewer. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Saturday, January 17th, 2004 from 6-8 and Sunday, from 1- 1:30 pm. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 18th, at 2:00 pm at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dr. William Randall will officiate.
