RYAN, FREDERICK WALLACE "WALLY" The death of Frederick Wallace "Wally" Ryan of Nashwaak Bridge, husband of Fay Ann (MacKay) Ryan, occurred on Friday, January 16, 2004 at his residence. Born in Fredericton, he was the son of Frederick and Martha (Ross) Ryan. Wally was employed as a technician for Clark Toyota of Fredericton. He was a member of the Beaverbrook Branch # 80, Royal Canadian Legion, and was an Enduro Class Race Car Driver, Car #2. Besides his wife and parents, Wally is survived by daughters Amy and Bridgette Ryan, both at home; brothers George Ryan (Nancy) of Stanley, Melvin Ryan of Taymouth; a sister Christine White (Trevor) of Royal Road; maternal grandmother Greta Ross of Taymouth, and four nephews. He was predeceased by maternal grandfather George Ross, and paternal grandparents Robert and Emily (Durdle) Ryan. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, Brookside Drive at Douglas Avenue, Fredericton North, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 PM from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel. Rev. Hazel Morris-Harvey will officiate. Interment will take place at the Nashwaak Bridge Community Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers for the service are Doug Boone, Joshua Cernivz, Dana Merritt, Yvon Nowlan, Steven MacKay, and Edward Hood. A reception will follow the service at Nashwaak Bridge Legion.
