UNION CENTRE – Jason Everett Jardine, age 32, Union Centre, Pictou Co., passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2008, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Jason was the son of John and Wendy Jardine. He was a carpenter by trade, enjoyed working with wood and was an avid outdoors man. Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister, Tracy, and brother, Jamie. He is also survived by paternal grandmother, Dorothy (Cameron) Jardine; and maternal grandparents, Sterling and Sylvia Morris; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by grandfather Murray Jardine; uncle, Glen Jardine; and cousin, Christopher Barrett. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. His memorial service will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday from Middle River Presbyterian Church, Rocklin, with Rev. Gary Tonks officiating. In memory of Jason, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Society of the Aberdeen Hospital.
