VINCENT, J. MICHAEL "MIKE" Major - Signals Corps (retired) In Ottawa, Sunday, February 8, 2004 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Gertrude (nee Gunter). Loving father of David (Judy), John (Louise) and father-in-law of Charles Smith. Cherished grandfather of Katie, Sylvia, Jim and Amy and three great grandchildren. Dear brother of Carline (late Boots Dunbar), Peter (Amy), Tom (Nora), Jane (Ed McCarthy) and Martha (Joe Harrison). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Lee Smith and son Peter. Joined the Army as a "Boy Soldier" CTTC in 1944. Graduated from UNB in Electrical Engineering in 1949. He joined the Army and served in Canada, Germany and the Middle East.
