NEW?GLASGOW – Jennie Mary Fraser, age 97, of the Valley View Villa, Riverton, and formerly of Fraser’s Mountain and New Glasgow, passed away Friday, November 7, 2008, in the Villa. Born in New Waterford, she was a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Tighe) Kehoe. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church and the CWL. She was a member of the Autumn Crest Senior Citizens Club. She is survived by daughter: Shirley (Carter) Vaniderstine, Murray River, PEI; daughter-in-law Edna Fraser, Fraser’s Mountain; grandchildren: Alan, Susan, Sharon, Robert, Darla Ann, Robert and Blair; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; sisters: Rose Fraser, Ottawa; Regina White, Lourdes; Louise White, New Glasgow; Viola Fraser, New Glasgow; brother: Bern Kehoe, MacLellan’s Mountain. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Newell Fraser; son, Robert James Fraser, brothers: John, Jimmie and George; sister, Margaret McGibbon. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home New Glasgow. Funeral mass will be Monday in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in Castle Hill Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of choice.
