FERRIS, BRUCE A. The death of Bruce A. Ferris of Robertson's Point, NB, occurred at Forever Young Special Care Home on Wednesday, February 18th, 2004. Born in Robertson's Point, NB, he was the son of the late Ernest and Nora (Day) Ferris. Bruce was a farmer for most of his life and worked for the Department of Transportation for several years. Survived by two sisters, Olive Purves of Fredericton, NB and Connie Mason (Cecil) of New Maryland, NB; one brother, Charles "Buzzy" Ferris (Carol) of Robertson's Point, NB and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Lillian (Moss) Ferris and his second wife, Lorna (Mogard-Atkins) Ferris. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, February 20th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Saturday, February 21st, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 22nd, 2004 at 3:00 pm. Rev. Ted Newell officiating. Interment will take place in the Jemseg Cemetery at a later date.
