JAMER, BARBARA JOANNE It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Barbara Joanne Jamer of Fredericton, NB, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2004, at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, NS. Born in Fredericton, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Edith B. (Merritt) Jamer. Barbara was a life-long resident of Fredericton, having worked 30 years for the Provincial Artisans Fredericton Inc. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church Choir for many years. Barbara loved music, family history, and traveling with her sister, Joy. Barbara enjoyed the company of her special friends at work. She is survived by her loving sister, Joy Jamer and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her parents. Arrangements are under the care and direction of McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton (506) 458-9170. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Paul's United Church. Rev. David Fisher officiating. Interment will take place in the Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery in the spring.
