JOSEPH LAWRENCE HAYES
HAYES, JOSEPH LAWRENCE The death of Joseph Lawrence Hayes of Tay Creek, husband of Flora (Anderson) Hayes, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on March 7, 2004. Born in Tay Creek, he was the son of the late Frank and Helen (Guitard) Hayes. Joseph was selfemployed as a truck driver and was a veteran of World War II. Besides his wife Flora of sixty-two years, he is survived by three sons Lawrence, Warren and Irvine Hayes of Fort McMurray AB; one daughter Shirley (Warren) Gilmore of Penniac NB; two sisters, Annie (Don) Wilson and Helen (Garnet) McKinnon of Tay Creek NB; six grandchildren, Dale, Jason, Dustin, Tanya, Debbie, and Jennifer; four great grandchildren, four nieces and four nephews. He is predeceased by five brothers Walter, William, Wilfred, James and John Hayes; four sisters Marjorie, Laura, Olive and Josephine. Although there will be no visitation at the family's request a private graveside service will be held in the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Tay Creek at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
