WALSH, ELIZABETH (BESSIE) Galloway, NB - Elizabeth(Bessie) Walsh, 81, wife of Earl Walsh, passed away on March 7, 2004 at the Dr.. Georges L. Dumont Hospital after a brief illness. Born in South Branch on August 31, 1922 she was the daughter of the late James Brown and Anne (Markey) Brown. Bessie retired from the Rexton Lions Nursing Home and previously was a caregiver. She attended Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton and was a member of the C.W.L. She is survived by her husband, Earl Walsh, two daughters, Janet (Alban) Vautour, Harriet (late Donald) Robichaud, Rexton, two sons, Everett (Anne) Walsh, Harvey Station, Ronald (Marie) Walsh, Galloway, foster nieces, Ann Langis and Marion Walsh, Riverview, 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, sister, Mary Brown, Riverview, brother, Charles Brown, Virginia, USA, sister-in-law, Kathleen Brown, Rexton and Cassie Brown, Saint John and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters, Serena Hudson and Anne Glencross, five brothers, James, David, William, Edward and Thomas. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252) with visiting hours on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9, Wednesday, 9am until departure for funeral. The funeral mass will be at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at 11:00am. Prayer vigil will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 8:30pm.
