EDNA CLAIRE CRAIG
CRAIG, EDNA CLAIRE Edna C. Craig of Harvey Station, widow of J. T. Arthur Craig, passed away March 7, 2004 at York Manor. Born at Brockway on November 28, 1907, she was a daughter of the late Solomon and Blanche (Davis) Vail. Edna was a teacher, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member of Knox Presbyterian Church having served as Sunday School teacher, treasurer, member of the Atlantic Missionary Society and Sewing Circle. She supported community organizations especially relating to the Harvey Community Hospital. She is survived by two daughters, Rose Wilkin (Jack) and Lynne Isherwood (Trevor), both of Harvey Station; a son, Hollie Craig (Ruth), Fredericton; two granddaughters, Sheena Craig (Cristian Lotito), San Francisco and Kimberly Te Brugge (Warren), Palgrave, Ontario; two grandsons, Ian Craig (Michelle), Mississauga, Ontario and Craig Isherwood (Jill), Fredericton; five great granddaughters, Courtney and Carly Craig, Chloe Lotito, Paige Isherwood and Ashlynne Te Brugge; several nieces and nephews. Edna was predeceased by her husband in 1988, a sister Thelma Vail and four brothers, Everett, Artemas, Chipman and Linton Vail. Resting at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station with visiting hours Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2412 Highway 3, Harvey Station on Friday, March 12, 2004 at 2: 30 p.m. Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Interment will be later at Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
