LUSHER, WALTER FRANKLYN Walter Franklyn Lusher - 83, Dartmouth, passed away March 13, 2004 in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born May 30, 1920, he was a son of the late Gordon and Dora (Cleveland) Lusher. Walter was a veteran of the Second World War and served overseas in Holland and had 34 and a half years military service with the Royal Canadian Engineers. In his youth, Walter was a champion runner. He was an avid golfer and curler. Surviving are wife, Arleene (Barratt); daughter, Heather, Dartmouth; sister, Peggy (William) Wyatt, Halifax. He was predeceased by sister, Dorothy; brother, Roy Thomas. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held 2 pm today in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth, Reverend Carolyn Tomlin officiating. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
