It's with great sadness we announce he passing of our beloved husband and father. Robert passed away peacefully on June 8, 2008 in his 78th year, after a lengthy illness. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Margaret (nee Cantwell) of 48 years, six cherished children and 11 grandchildren. John (Shirley) (John, Joseph), Colin (Michele) (Lindsay, Liam), Diane (Lew), Maureen (Jake) (Sarah, Adam, Katie), Darlene (Don) (Alex, Rachel), Margie (Rick), (Ian and Max). A funeral mass will be held on June 10, 2008 at 11 a.m. A private family interment will take place. Cremation has taken place at Robert's request. The family will host a reception following the mass at St. Michael's to celebrate Robert's life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to the Canadian Blood Services. The family would like to express special thanks to the nursing staff at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital for their care and support. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
