STELLARTON – John Francis “Jack” Winslow, 68, Kirk Ave., Stellarton, passed away October 28, 2007, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Stellarton, he was a son of the late Anthony and Evelyn (Mahar) Winslow. Jack was a construction worker having worked in Ontario for many years. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton. Surviving are his sister, Joan (Eddy) Finn, New Glasgow; brothers: Doug, Hopewell; Edward “Eddy” and Ronnie, both of Stellarton; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
