MCFARLANE, WILLIAM ERNEST On Sunday March 21, 2004 William Ernest McFarlane, age 69, of Rusagonis, NB passed away at home. Born in PEI, he was a son of the late William and Margaret (McIsaac) McFarlane. He served with the Black Watch and 2 R.C.R. retiring in 1985 and was a member of the Black Watch Association. He also served as a commissionaire at the Centennial Building, and security for Maple Leaf Homes. He was well known in hockey, having played with the Black Watch, then the Cornwallis Cougars and later with Base Gagetown Warriors where he was known as "Billie-O", and served as coach for both teams. He was a member of the Gage Golf and Curling Club for many years and enjoyed his retirement golfing. He is survived by his wife Pat; a daughter Tina Grandmaison and her husband Keith; grandchildren Patti and Jimmy Ingersoll. Nieces; Wilma Jenkins and Cathy Bourque, nephew Raymond McFarlane. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road with visitation Monday 2-4, & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 AM, with Rev.
