Westville – John George MacEachern, 77, Forbes Street, New Glasgow formerly of Westville passed away on Friday, March 23, 2007 in the Aberdeen Hospital. He was a son of the late Patrick Thomas and Mary Margaret (McLaughlin) MacEachern. John was a resident of Sunset Haven Manor for the past year where he enjoyed entertaining with his music especially the fiddle and guitar . He is survived by sisters, Dolorosa Morrison (Robert), Union Centre; Marguerite Morrison (Joseph), Union Centre; Brenda Martin, Westville; Carol MacDonald, Edmonton and by brothers Donald (Roselee), MacPhersonMills and Wayne (Barb), New Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by sisters, Helene Boyce and Loretta Martin and brothers, William, Vernon, Roddie and Norbet. Visitations will be held on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. The C.W.L. will recite prayers at 4 p.m. Sunday. His funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday from the Church of The Holy Name, Westville, with Father Donald Boudreau officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Name Cemetery, Westville.
