CAREY, DORIS MARY The death of Doris Mary (Hinks) Carey of Holtville, wife of the late Albert Carey occurred on Sunday, March 20, 2004 at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. Born in Birmingham, England, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ethel (Key) Hinks. Mrs. Carey is survived by three daughters, Barbara Carson (Archie) of Holtville, Marilyn Munn (Leonard) of Holtville, and Valerie Connor (Charles) of Nashwaak Village; one brother, William Hinks (Gwen) of England; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Oliver; three sisters, Elizabeth, Ethel, and Gladys; and one granddaughter, Deanna Carson. Pallbearers for the service will be Holly Carson, Frank Storey, Robert Munn, Mark Brown, Perry McKeil and Kenneth Fowler. Although there will be no visitation, the funeral service will be held at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 2 PM with Rev. Phillip Connor officiating. Interment will take place at St. Andrews Anglican Cemetery, Doaktown NB, at a later date.
