Passed peacefully away, surrounded by family, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, on Sunday, June 8, 2008, Lawrence Gibbons of St. Vincent's, S.M.B., aged 90 years; Husband of the late Rita Gibbons (nee Hayward). Loving father of Gloria Houle (Ron), Surrey, B.C., Doreen Rowe (John), Montague, P.E.I., Maureen McRae (Doug), Vancouver, B.C., Marie Kitts (John), Kaleden, B.C., Damian (Nellie), Lloyd (Sharon), Lawrence and Kevin (Rosalyn), all of St. Vincent's. Proud grandfather of nineteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; dear brother of George (Agnes), Kevin (Alice) and sister-in-law Evelyn. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by infant son Jimmy, parents James and Catherine; brothers: Sandy, Val, Tim, Herb and Tom; sisters: Elsie, Mena, Carmel and Gertrude. Resting at Fr.
