BOONE, LEONARD WHITFIELD The death of Leonard Whitfield Boone of the Gagetown Special Care Home occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Saturday, March 27th, 2004. Born in Geary, NB on March 18th, 1928, he was the son of the late Albert and Nellie (Smith) Boone of Geary. Leonard is survived by two sisters, Stella Gallant of the Gagetown Nursing Home and Myrtle Meyer (Albert) of Minto, NB; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Boone of Geary, NB and Evelyn Boone of Geary, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Frances (Harnish) Boone (on February 23rd, 2004); brothers, Moran and Ernest and a sister, Emma Balser. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 30th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 31st, 2004 at 2:00 pm at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Greg Sparkes officiating.
