MCLEOD, DOUGLAS M. Douglas M. McLeod passed away peacefully at the Gagetown Nursing Home on Monday March 29th, 2004. Doug is survived by his wife, Ethel McLeod; sons, Robert (Angela) of Nova Scotia, Scott of Fredericton, daughter, Karen of Fredericton; stepdaughter, Carol (Don) of Calgary; stepsons Edward (Sandra) of Ottawa and Stewart of Calgary; 10 grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Dr. William McLeod; his wife Audrey and their daughter Jennifer (Michael) of Nashville, Tennessee. Doug worked for the insurance business for many years in Fredericton; later in the Gagetown area. Doug enjoyed many rural activies: such as gardening, beekeeping and pets. He was four times the big pumpkin champion of the Queens County Fair and re-introduced show birds to the exhibit area in recent years. The family will receive visitors at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 31st, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Queenstown Baptist Church, Queenstown, NB, on Thursday April 1st, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Mary Wanamaker officiating.
