STEVENS, LORRIS JOYCE The death of Joyce L. Stevens of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Tuesday, March 30th, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Pearl (Belyea) Coombes; and the wife of the late Walter Stevens. Survived by one daughter, Dorothy Stevens, two sons, Bob Stevens (Mary), and Barry Stevens (Joy) all of Fredericton; three grandchildren, Christie, Andrew and Paige Stevens, one nephew Richard Coyle. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Walter; three sisters, Dorothy, Adele and Ruby. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, April 2nd, 2004 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Saturday, April 3rd, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Archdeacon John Sharpe will officiate. Interment will be in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery at a later date.
