GAUTHIER, BENJAMIN (BEN) J. The death of Benjamin (Ben) J. Gauthier of Minto occurred Tuesday, March 30th, 2004 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton. Born in Minto, NB, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Melina (Gauthreau) Gauthier. Ben is survived by his wife Emilda (Robichaud) Gauthier of Salmon River; four sons, Andrew Mazerolle of Minto, Alcide Mazerolle and Earl Mazerolle both of Massachusetts and Alfred Mazerolle of Moncton; five grandchildren, Gary Mazerolle, Donna Mazerolle, Shawn Mazerolle, Lynn Mazerolle and Susan Mazerolle, several great grandchildren; a special friend Bea Gallant of Minto; two brothers, Alyre Gauthier (Nora) of Minto and Fidele Gauthier (Sharon) of Saint John; four sisters, Edith Doiron (Clarence) Jeannie Anderson (Jim) and Elaine Parent (Gerald) all of Saint John and Noella Belliveau of Minto; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Gladys Guislain; two brothers, Ernest Gauthier and Gerald Gauthier. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) where the family will receive visitors on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am, Friday, April 2nd, 2004 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Peter Stephen officiating. Interment will take place in St. Bridgit's Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
