EDMUND WILLIAMS
WILLIAMS, EDMUND, S. Edmund Shiers Williams, 87, of Salisbury passed away Sunday April 4, 2004 at the Moncton Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Point Tupper N.S. he was a son of the late Jeremiah and Joan (MacPhail) Williams. Edmund served in the Second World War with R.C.A.F. and retired from the C.N.R. as a Rules Supervisor and was an Electrolux Representative for many years. Survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Marjorie (West), children George (Carmella), Bruce (Darlene), Jean Jensen (Karl) of Salisbury, Tracy Busson (Reginald ) of Chipman, grandchildren Tanya, Joanna, David and Melanie Williams, Kelsey, Courtney and Denver Busson, Jeremy (Carol) and Rachel Jensen and great granddaughter Julie Ann Jensen, a brother Robert of Woodstock On., and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Muriel Foot, brothers Thomas, Angus, Morrow, Jeremiah Jr. and George. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home , 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. There will be a Legion Memorial Service Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. followed by a Masonic Memorial Service at 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home. The Funeral will be Wednesday April 7 at 2 p.m. from the Salisbury United Church with Rev. Kathleen Zwicker officiating. Interment at Fairhaven Cemetery, Moncton.
