(nee Hobbs) Passed peacefully away June 9, 2008 in the presence of her loving family, Rita Oliver, age 81 years. Predeceased by her husband James; son Samuel, daughter Elizabeth "Haynes"; parents James and Violet Hobbs; brother Cyril Hobbs. Leaving to mourn sons: Hubert, Donald, Richard (Rose), Eugene and Philip (Delores); daughters: Violet Lucier (Roy) of B.C., Barbara Beason (Harold), Stella Johnson (Bill), Linda Bojaczuk (Steve) of B.C., Debra White (Chris) and Denise (Dave); also twenty-seven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great-granchild; sisters: Hannah Arcand of BC and Mary Squires; brother Hubert Hobbs (Doreen); half brothers: Pat Hobbs and Paul Tucker (Helen); half sister Gloria Yetman (Edward); son-in-law Roger Haynes; daughter-in-law Dianna Oliver; as well as a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, with visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 12th at 11 a.m. from St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Mundy Pond Road.
